New Web Hosting Topic: Different Types Of Seo Hosting Services New Web Hosting Topic:

Virtual Private Servers And Dedicated Servers Explained:

In this article: When you're running an online business, chances are you know what SEO web hosting is and why it is imperative in your SEO efforts. If you've done your research, you already know the advantages of having your site hosted by a service geared towards SEO rather than the usual, ordinary web hosting companies. Having the info is just the first step, though. Now you need to make use of those facts and take action by finding the company that will fit your needs. One step of identifying which company is knowing what types of SEO hosting services there are and which one is the best fit for your business.

In most cases – and with most companies – there are three types of hosting services for SEO available, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
The first type is called Dedicated Hosting Service. This can be considered the crиme de la crиme of SEO web hosting and therefore has the most advantages. One such advantage – as the name implies – is a dedicated server. This server is a physical one you lease and have full control over, which means you get the final say on what operating system to go for and other hardware choices connected to the service. Another advantage is top notch speed and reliability. This is because dedicated hosting services have the highest possible uptime the company has to offer and the most amount of bandwidth. These translate into fewer offline instances and faster page loading. The drawback in this choice is pretty obvious – it's the most expensive. This does not seem to be the best choice if you're just starting out.

The second type of service is called Virtual Private Server. As the name suggests, the server in this type is private but only virtually; it doesn't mean you get your own dedicated physical server. The physical server in this case is usually divided. This option has pretty decent speed and uptime as well as freedom in your software choices despite sharing a physical server, not to mention being more affordable than having a dedicated physical one. The problem with this option, however, is that you run the risk of being categorized in a bad IP neighborhood should the other websites sharing your server – therefore sharing your IP address as well – commit an SEO offense.

The third choice when it comes to SEO hosting services is Shared Web Hosting Service. Shared as in you have the same IP address as multiple websites, which as mentioned earlier can cause some hits against your SEO efforts. This service is also limited in pretty much everything you need from your webhost. You don't get as much bandwidth or as high an uptime. The one thing that's going for it is its affordability; this type of service is cheapest of the lot. That might sound like a criticism, but it doesn't have to be. Even with shared web hosting, you can still get decent service as long as you pick a reliable company. It is also the one that makes the most sense if you're just starting out and still finding your way around both website creation and maintenance as well as optimization.
